Student Machine Shop
The machine shop is available for both graduate and undergraduate student use.

- Vertical Bandsaw and Cutoff Saws
- Workbenches and Vices
- Hand tools
- Assistance and consultation available
- Sheet metal sheer, hole punches and bending machines
- Milling cutter and Lathe tool bit kits available for use while in the SMShop
Student Shop Access Requirement
- Complete the online Health and Safety Training. To register, please contact
- Review the Student Safety Manual.
- Complete the Basic Machine Shop Training at George Brown College.
- Complete the MC-78 Safety Course. Sign up in the shop. Courses are offered at 10:15 am on Friday or other scheduled time that is agreed with the shop manager. Maximum six people per class.
